ONE NOUGHT ONE
Website Limited Warranty
IMPORTANT LINKS
Last Updated on January 11, 2023
One Nought One provides an extensive 90-day software warranty and maintenance policy for the websites we build and/or deploy. This limited warranty covers code and websites developed by 101 Communications Limited Liability Partnership. The warranty covers errors or omissions made by our team at One Nought One for up to and no further than ninety (90) days after the final version of the website or code goes live. However, any code altered by the customer and/or third-party applications used on the website is outside the scope of our warranty. The client's responsibility is the accuracy of content provided or approved by the customer to complete the website, and alterations are considered change orders.

Website warranty applies to websites with a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, which is effective from the date we publish the “Initial release” or “beta release” (whichever is earlier) of the website at the client's request. The web development of the rest of the project, as per the SoW, continues in parallel up to the “final release”. This website warranty covers any defects, bugs, or other service issues resulting from the development process. A ‘bug’ is considered any website feature that no longer functions as it did during the testing phase. A ‘defect’ is a significant issue that impedes the website's main functionality. The User Acceptance Testing phase ends with the release of the final version of the website. Any bugs or defects brought to our attention during the 90-day limited warranty period will be fixed without charge in a time frame to be negotiated with you, the client.

If you want to discuss your new website, have any questions or concerns, or want clarification on anything in this document, please email us at hello@onenought.one, and a member of our development or project management team will assist you.

For CMS websites, it is important to understand the distinction between ‘core code’ and ‘custom code’.
Core Code refers to the base code required by the CMS to operate correctly. This code is provided to us and our clients as an open-source platform or third-party platform like Wix. We do not alter core code in any way. Any bugs resulting directly from the core code of a CMS are not covered by your warranty.
Custom Code refers to the unique code introduced to your website to give it its individual look, feel, and functionality. We produce this custom code, which is covered by your website warranty.

Beyond the initial warranty, we offer extended emergency support services to update our clients' websites. This applies to all sites developed by the agency and represented by monikers such as ‘POWERED BY ONE NOUGHT ONE’, ‘MANAGED BY ONE NOUGHT ONE’, ‘PUBLISHED BY ONE NOUGHT ONE' or ‘MADE BY ONE NOUGHT ONE’.
