Job Description

A Social Media Manager oversees a company's interactions with the public through implementing content strategies on social media platforms. Their duties include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and planning digital campaigns to build up a community online through different platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The manager will be required to manage social media accounts of One Nought One and look after and supervise the content development for all platforms.

  • He/She will work closely with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns that help to achieve corporate marketing goals.

  • They will be responsible for developing monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will help in increasing the company’s overall reach.

  • They are also expected to monitor the company’s social media accounts like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and offer constructive interaction with users

  • He/She must analyze the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offer quarterly reports to the management and executive teams that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan.

  • Looking after interactive content creation and proactively participating in communication with the followers on behalf of the company is also required of the social media manager.

  • He/She also has to look after various groups and communities within these platforms, and engage with them.

  • He/She will be responsible for reaching out to people for collaborations and partnerships on behalf of the company.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Manage the firm's accounts on various social media platforms such as LinkedIn and maintain their engagement rate.

  • Stay alert on all marketing communications within the company to manage the brand expectation.


  • Pursuing their bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, PR or any other related field.

  • Entry level understanding of marketing strategy and how to use the growth marketing concepts.

  • Ability to deliver creative content and apt with the usage of social media platforms like Instagram.

  • Excellent copywriting skills and basic understanding of social media algorithms and similar tools.

  • Excel in verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients and colleagues at work.

  • Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation, Social Media Optimisation, Keyword Research.
