Job Description

The Community Management Intern is responsible for assisting in a range of marketing initiatives within an organization. They manage an organisation's online presence by developing a strategy, producing good content, analysing usage data, facilitating customer service and managing projects and campaigns.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the team to create a marketing plan for social media platforms on a monthly basis. Monitor content to ensure branding narrative is consistent throughout the various client accounts.


  • Oversee the creation and implementation of a monthly editorial which includes monthly sales objectives and milestones. Aid in the daily aspects of promoting the businesses campaigns.


  • Responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, to build an audience and promote company blogs and podcasts.


  • Understand social media metrics and use the information to ensure the social media strategy is apt for achieving its goals. Use data to analyze, reinforce or refocus key messages accordingly.


  • Responsible for developing strategy, engaging with the community on platforms such as Telegram, managing Discord channels, creating Reddit threads and tweeting consistently on our technology.


  • Suggest and implement new features to build brand awareness, with promotions and competitions. Help in converting customers with engaging, responsive, responsible, and captivating interactions.


  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, contemplate on such trends.


  • Engage in public speaking on platforms like Clubhouse and Lehar for the benefit of organisation.


  • Make outreach to influencers, for partnerships and conduct events to work on these collaborations.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Manage Facebook Business Suite, Instagram Creator Studio and other social media tools effectively.


  • Manage the firm's accounts on various social media platforms and maintain their engagement rate.


  • Stay alert on all marketing communications within the company to manage brand expectations.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing their bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, PR or any other related field


  • Entry level understanding of marketing strategy and how to use the growth marketing concepts.


  • Ability to deliver creative content and apt with the usage of social media platforms like Instagram.


  • Excellent copywriting skills and basic understanding of social media algorithms and similar tools.


  • Excel in verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients and colleagues at work.


  • Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation, Social Media Optimisation, Keyword Research.
